I have this tendency to over-exaggerate a certain situation and panic myself. But after a while, I laugh it off. I shouldn't be worrying myself too much. After all, YOLO! :)

Addicted!
It's been a long time since I blog and I miss blogging so badly. Well, blame it on the busy schedule and also the laziness. Sigh. I don't know why but I have been addicted to anime/manga since a year ago and the one that started it all is One Piece. I remembered watching One Piece when I was 11, maaaany years ago on my t.v. but then it was all forgotten. From where i'm from, they didn't continue airing the series and the anime fades away from my memory. Then one day, out of boredom, I went to search for One Piece episodes online because I could still recall the series and was curious about it. I knew the events right up to Arlong arc and that's it.
So I looked up the internet for the episodes and behold, the series dragged up to 650+ episodes! That is a lot. So I re-watch the whole One Piece from square one as I vaguely remember the details from the start. Since then, it had been a One Piece marathon for me and I am still watching it till this day. It's still ongoing, that's how long the series has been. I should have read the manga instead to avoid additional scenes and fillers, as the anime sometimes love to dragggg things out too much, causing the pacing to be unbelievably slow, like OMG. Currently, the distance between the manga and anime is not too far off, but if there is a hiatus on the manga then damn, I just hope that the anime won't be badly affected. Like seriously.
Popular animes are always advertised among the recommended titles to watch, so out of curiosity again, I clicked on Naruto. Yes, I don't even know what the heck Naruto is until years ago. LOL right? The first episode of Naruto got me hooked on it and thus, started the Naruto marathon, right along with One Piece. I didn't read the manga but I did though later on. At least, the pacing is not horribly slow. Good good. Naruto is still ongoing but it the series will be ending soon.
Right now, the anime that got me drooling is Hunter x Hunter 2011. The anime's story plot is good, there are complex character developments, with unexpected plots and the characters are very memorable. Unlike the stereotypical shonen ending, Hunter x Hunter took a daring path to be different in some arc, particularly in the Chimera Ant arc when it comes to the conclusion of the ending. Bravo! But the downside to this series is that the author, Yoshihiro Togashi, is well-known to be taking a loooong hiatus ever since the Hunter x Hunter original debut in 1999. The great news is that now, he's back! The manga is continuing and I hope this will continue for a long time. Please make this wish come true! The fans are tired of waiting for so long! I have faith in Togashi-sensei, that the materials he has in store for us will be an astronomically good one. Also, the animation studio responsible for creating fantastic memorable scenes in Hunter x Hunter 2011 is Madhouse. Many kudos to them!
So for now, out of the 3 I don't know which comes first to my liking. One Piece and Hunter x Hunter is at a tie perhaps. Nuh, scratch that, Hunter x Hunter 2011 is at the top. For now, sayonara!
As an afterthought, there are other anime which are good such as Death Note, Toriko etc but the 3 above are the ones that gets my attention the most.
