Brief Introduction

My photo
I view cute kitty videos to pass time. I hate eating too much when I'm about to get full. I dreamed of being a superhero once when I was a kid. I love running a lot be it day or night, rain or shine. And I love my boyfriend who stays so far away ♡

The Spirit

Finishing the adidas 16.8km was a good experience for me,and it changed me a lot.
Completing the run turns me into a different person, and oh the ENDURANCE
It's the mentality that I have to keep note of.
If I have the winning mentality, nothing can stop me from finishing the run.
But if I keep thinking of giving up,the journey to the finishing line seems like an eternity.
Well, mostly it's my passion for running that makes me persevere.
I gotta train harder now and do better the next time round.

A Calm Mind Is What I Wish For

Sometimes,I got this overwhelming feeling that I'm being judged.
I don't know why.But I have this instinct that says so.
Maybe it's all in my imagination.
I keep having roaming thoughts in my head anyway.
Whenever that happens,new questions emerge.
And another one,and another one.It just won't stop.
It'll never stop.

I am always inquisitive.

Too Skeptical?

90% of the time I tend to wander about the positive stuff that people always say
and the downfall that they're trying to hide.
Like saying how strong the country's economy is
or saying that they're close in capturing the most wanted terrorist on earth.
Btw,wheres the proof that Bin Laden is DEAD?
No body=no proof right?
How very convenient.
Now I'm thinking if its all just a big LIE
and trying to make us look stupid.Do we look that dumb?Pfft.

Just be extra wary of what you've heard/seen on the radio/television
As the media is the most dangerous tool in conspiring up stories and circulating it around the world

I know that the Bin Laden's death seems outdated here, but its a prime example of how the media tried to manipulate people into believeing their lies

HAPPY 46TH SINGAPORE!

Thank you for giving me shelter, comfort and security.I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the world except for my homeland <3 Majulah Singapura!(Onward Singapore)

THE NATIONAL ANTHEM

MAJULAH SINGAPURA
Mari kita rakyat Singapura
Sama-sama menuju bahagia
Cita-cita kita yang mulia
Berjaya Singapura
Marilah kita bersatu
Dengan semangat yang baru
Semua kita berseru
Majulah Singapura
Majulah Singapura

The Origin
The National Anthem was written in the wake of nationalism during 1956-57. Its composer, the late Encik Zubir Said, had written it on the basis of two words, "Majulah Singapura" or "Onward Singapore". The patriotic song was first performed by the Singapore Chamber Ensemble on the occasion of the opening of the newly renovated Victoria Theatre. It was launched on 3 December 1959 together with the National Flag and the State Crest, at the installation of the new Head of State, Yang di-Pertuan Negara, at the City Hall steps. Upon independence in 1965, "Majulah Singapura" was adopted as the republic's National Anthem.
Its Meaning
ONWARD SINGAPORE
(English Translation)
We, the people of Singapore
Together march towards happiness
Our noble aspiration
To make Singapore a success
Let us all unite
In a new spirit
Together we proclaim
Onward Singapore
Onward Singapore

THE PLEDGE
The Origin
Initially penned by Mr S Rajaratnam in 1966, the Pledge was written against the backdrop of racial riots in the 1950s and 1960s. Mr Rajaratnam revealed that the dream was about building "a Singapore we are proud of". He believed that language, race and religion were divisive factors, but the Pledge emphasizes that these differences can be overcome if Singaporeans cared enough about their country. The draft text was handed to the then Prime Minister Mr Lee Kuan Yew, who polished the text before submitting it to the Cabinet.
OUR PLEDGE
We, the citizens of Singapore,
pledge ourselves as one united people,
regardless of race, language or religion,
to build a democratic society
based on justice and equality
so as to achieve happiness, prosperity and
progress for our nation.

Please Stop It

I'm sick and tired of holy war
What happened to thou shalt not kill?
If they could only open their eyes, and free themselves from their thirst for hunting down"unclean blood"
Violence don't seat well with any peace talks(they need to get this in their head)

This is the 21st Century and things got to change for the sake of the future

Almost Have It

Not long ago,I promised myself to be different,to be in control and to be disciplined
Where I made a list which I have to strictly follow
But I disobeyed  myself

I failed last time
But this time,I won't
